You Meme you don't know?
Well i will start off by giving you a dictionary definition of the word meme.
Meme
Pronounced: meem
"–noun
a cultural item that is transmitted by repetition in a manneranalogous to the biological transmission of genes."

In my simple terms: A meme is an idea (usually a video, image, website or even just a word or two) that spreads around the the vast world of the interwebs, similar to the wildfire that spread through the Australian Bunyip State Forest in Febuary 2009.
The life of a Meme: No meme is immortal on the interwebs (though some will stay in our hearts forever). They can live from a day and even last for months but eventually they will become overused. A Meme can retain its original form or it can evolve with every hour that passes, some memes are borne pro and will descend upon the earth like the fad which was pokemon ruler of our childhoods.
I feel that a lot of popular memes come to pass by sheer idiocy of one person or many, a simple video, image or passage of text that states "Ima Bitch Come Meme me please". Though this is just a personal opinion of mine but lets face it, they were asking for it.

Yep i just did that, You clicked it and that is your own fault. That was the Rickroll. One of the oldest tricks in the book. To put it simply for all of you that don't know, the Rickroll is where you trick someone into watching the rick astley never gonna give you up music video. Stupid? Yeah but an effective way to drive someone up the wall? Also Yes.

Keanu became a photoshopping victim after paparazzi caught him on camera sitting in a park on a bench eating a sammich looking kinda lonely. This meme dates back to early june 2010 when a thread on 4chan was opened and the shopping began.

When you see it you'll shit bricks..... Became an extremely popular caption for demotivational poster. The idea behind them is that one will Shit Bricks after discovering a hidden message or image within the picture. This is also an example of an overused meme and one that is wearing thin within the online community.
